SRAD Flight Computer
Our in-house flight computer handles telemetry, data logging, and mission-critical decisions in real time. It integrates sensors and actuation for a reliable, SRAD avionics stack designed for the 3KM mission profile.
Our flagship vehicle for the European Rocketry Challenge — Student Researched & Developed systems from avionics to recovery.
Our in-house flight computer handles telemetry, data logging, and mission-critical decisions in real time. It integrates sensors and actuation for a reliable, SRAD avionics stack designed for the 3KM mission profile.
The ground control system provides mission monitoring, telemetry display, and command capability. Our team developed the software and hardware to track the rocket and coordinate launch and recovery operations from the pad.
We are developing an active recovery system that controls the descent of the parachute to land the vehicle back on the pad. By adjusting canopy and descent profile, we aim for precise, repeatable landings and faster turnaround between flights.
The airframe is fully student-researched and developed: from material selection and structural analysis to manufacturing and integration. The structure is designed to carry the COTS solid motor, avionics, and recovery system while meeting EuRoC 2026 requirements.
