KIRA traveled to Atmos Space Cargo’s Germany headquarters for a visit: we presented our ideas, learned how they design and build their payload and recovery systems, and got an inside look at how they make their pods. We toured the factory and saw their production process firsthand.

The team shared expertise on carbon fiber, avionics, and everything that goes into building a space recovery pod. It was an invaluable chance to learn from professionals in the field and bring that knowledge back to our own work for EuRoC 2026.
